Refitting
Ridgeback Service Bodies are designed and manufactured to last many years. As such many customers remove the service body and re-install it onto a new vehicle.

Fixed Service Bodies
Ridgeback Fixed Models have been designed with a universal mounting system - this means that the fixed body can be re-installed on a similar vehicle providing it is the same cab/chassis configuration.
Lift-off Bodies
The only prerequisite is that the new vehicle is the same vehicle configuration
Fixed Service Bodies
For example a 1800 Series Body for a Dual cab vehicle will only fit on a new Dual cab vehicle.
Please note: Very often vehicle manufacturers change wheel base lengths and chassis rail dimensions on new series models. In the event that there has been considerable change then we may need to manufacture certain new components like wheel arch valances and chassis mounting brackets.
Lift-off Bodies
For example a 1800 Series Body for a Dual cab vehicle will only fit on a new Dual cab vehicle. The important part is the tray size.
Please note: You can install a 1800 or 2100 series lift-off model onto a 2400 tray ( Single cab). 1800 series will also fit onto a 2100 tray
